Bringing back Laser Tag for those rainy days.... July 29, 2015 16:00

When we flash back to the days of childhood, one of the favourite past times was Laser Tag.

Although some of the experiences can now be mimicked with first person shooting games on the Xbox, nothing quite beat the rush of running around a dark warehouse full of neon lights while shooting other people with infrared lasers.

Although the rainy day past time seemed to die out in the mid 2000's its slowly making a come back with Laser Tag companies springing back up across the UK. Enjoyed by adults and children alike, its was way of unleashing any pent up frustration as well as good exercise providing you actually do run around!

With any past time or activity that requires keeping track of numbers and security, wristbands are used in order to do so! Its lucky that here at Wristband Market, we've got all the neon colours to match those lights!

The Infamous VIP Section..... July 29, 2015 14:29

They can be seen in most nightclubs, the velvet red rope separating those who are deemed "very important" or people who just pay enough to become important from the general public. If you're lucky enough you may get the odd glimpse of a celebrity with a bottle of Grey Goose at their table while you end up queuing at the bar.

Either way, VIP sections are a necessary addition to night club floors allowing people to pay premium prices to be treated like royalty for the evening. Celebrities are often coxed in to make appearances that help draw a crowd and bring more custom. Clean leather couches and your own security guard are often the main give-away for such a section in but wristbands are almost always used as a method of distinguishing between the VIP's and the P's.

Whether you're "very important" or not, we still love you!

Why Sporting Events need wristbands.... July 29, 2015 11:39

For anyone who's attended large sporting events, they will know how chaotic things can get at times. Different areas of stadiums, golf courses or race tracks have to be sectioned off for people that pay a premium on the best positions and seating.

The easiest way to police the entry to these events and sections can be done through the use of Tyvek wristbands. Customised in a variety of different ways, some of the most popular designs include VIP wristbands signifying the fact that someone has paid top dollar to be in that particular section.

Yet another reason why wristbands are amazing, calming the chaos that is often present at sporting events!

The Hen (Bachelorette) Party for the Bride to Be.... July 28, 2015 14:36

It's a right of passage, a tradition, every bride to be has to have a Hen Do (Bachelorette for our US readers). Whether its a few drinks down the local with the stereotypical "L Plate" draped around her neck or a weekend away in the south of France with her girlfriends, the bride's "last night of freedom" has to be celebrated.

It's become a huge industry with the average spend per person on a Hen Party is £110. As already mentioned above the growing trend is for the lucky bride to be and her friends to depart for foreign shores for a few days whilst celebrating.

There are now companies devoted to making sure that everything for a weekend such as this is organised down to the last detail. Some of the events will normally include a bar crawl including wristbands printed with examples such as "Hen Party - If lost please buy her a drink".

Unfortunately for the groom to be, the wristbands can't be fitted with tacking devices! At least we've got lots of neon colours so they can be easily spotted!

Nightlife, Pub Crawls, Bar Tours........the only way to see a city! July 28, 2015 09:35

Although it may not be the first type of tour that springs to mind for a tourist visiting a new city, pub crawls and bar tours are a cost effective way to enjoy the nightlife of the area as well as viewing the sights and sounds of the city.

If one were to take London as an example, there are a number of companies that offer pub crawls and bar tours around trendy and popular areas such as Shoreditch and Soho.

The procedure starts by going to a particular meeting point or bar at a specific time. A small fee is paid, a wristband is then handed over which must be worn in order to obtain entry into all the drinking establishments. A drink or two is then normally included in the price of the ticket at every venue in the tour or crawl.

They are are a great way of getting social in a new city, meeting new people and generally having a great time in new surroundings!

Wristbands for Events, Night Clubs, Festivals and Raves! July 27, 2015 16:38

We've all had them lined up our arms at one point in our lives. The glow in the dark, bright neon colour wristbands that are worn as a symbol of defiance to everyone else the next day. They are a badge of honor!

Wristbands for events and night clubs are used for security purposes in order to highlight that entry has been paid for or one has the right of passage into the event. They have become very popular and a cost effective way of keeping track of security. The fact that Tyvek wristbands come in such bight and eye catching colours is just a bonus as they are easy to see.

Festivals, raves, charity events, sporting events or anything that requires keeping track of attendance and security mean that wristbands such as the ones Wristband Market supplies become the easiest method of doing so!
